Do you love all things social? Are you a whiz with Facebook, Twitter and blog Syndication?

Do you have ninja-style skills when it comes to uploading and distributing videos across the web? Well, we want you!

FMM has two spring internships available in our Orange County office. Our internships require individuals who are immersed in social media – ideally with experience in the following industries: beauty, fashion, wellness, health, personal care products, natural/organic foods/products or lifestyle – with a passion to learn and grow, be a part of a virtual team and bring a diverse skill set.

Our founders take great pride in internships at our firm. You will not go to get coffee or run meaningless errands. You will get hand on experience and walk away with work you can proudly showcase in your portfolio to help you as you develop your own career. If we have you run errands, we promise they’re fabulous – like pulling clothing for photo shoots!

Qualifications:

• experience dealing with all types of social media – blogs, forums, Facebook, video, Twitter, LinkedIn
• experience executing social media tactical programs (developing contests, promotions, partnerships, blogger relations, co-marketing programs, online PR, etc.)
• exposure to the strategic rationale for how and why each one is used (we don’t expect you to write the strategy, but to understand the ‘why’ behind it)
• develop new ideas for how clients can use social media to their advantage
• solid writing & good verbal communications
• If you have web site development/programming skills are a BIG plus (specifically Joomla and WordPress), we’ll work out a weekly stipend.

Requirements:

• Junior or Senior in College, preferably at Otis, FIDM or an Fashion program.
• Ability to work 12-16 hours per week. Time is flexible.
• College credit available.
• Own laptop is a plus, but not requirement. Mac or PC platform.
