Style Coalition unveiled the nominees for the 3rd Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards  yesterday on StyleCoalition.com.

Leading the pack with three nominations each are Burberry and DKNY, both past Top Innovator Award Winners, along with first time multi-category nominee Oscar de la Renta. Winners of Best Twitter, Facebook, Blog, Website, Online Video and Mobile App along with Top Innovator and Next Big Thing in Tech will be revealed at a ceremony February 8, 2012 at the SVA Theatre in New York City.

This year’s Awards will feature first-time host Robert Verdi, a well-known TV personality, celebrity stylist and social media veteran. The keynote will be given by Norma Kamali, chosen for her commitment to online media and new technologies as integral components of her brand strategy. The first Fashion 2.0 Visionary Award  will be presented to Gilt Groupe Founders Alexis Maybank and Alexandra Wilkis Wilson in acknowledgment of their achievements and leadership as e-commerce game-changers and their tremendous impact on the way the fashion industry, particularly luxury brands, perceive the online space.

“We are proud to document and acknowledge the way the fashion industry has changed through its embrace of social media with our annual Fashion 2.0 Awards,” says Yuli Ziv, CEO and founder of Style Coalition. “Each year, the nominees provide a great snapshot into the innovative practices brands are adopting and winners serve as an inspiration to others. The ceremony itself bridges the offline and online mediums, bringing together in one room the who’s who of the online fashion community.”
