To celebrate fashion, technology and consumer interaction, Stylelist.com and Saks Fifth Avenue teamed up to build an interactive window display at Saks’ New York flagship store for Fashion’s Night Out. The display featured a wall of 64 iPad 2s flanked on both sides by two grids of nine 27 inch Apple cinema displays. The installation streamed original Stylelist branded interactive imagery, live-streamed content from the newly redesigned site as well as user-submitted photos tagged with the #StylelistAtSaks hashtag from the event.

street viewGin Lane Media joined the Stylelist and Saks teams to design, develop the installation that went live September 1 and will run through September 19. “We love fashion and we love technology,” said Emmett Shine, founder of Gin Lane Media. “Combining both in a sensible way is what New York is about right now.”

This installation drove curious window shoppers into Saks to test their fashion IQ on another interactive platform. On the fifth floor, those who played during FNO tweeted their photos to @Stylelist and entered for the chance to win a $250 Saks gift card.
