American model and Texas native, Erin Wasson, found herself lucky enough to work on a collection for the French designer, Zadig & Voltaire, which is planned to launch this September. The 15 piece collection will be exclusive to NET-A-PORTER before it hits 80 stores worldwide. They teamed up and worked to find the perfect price point, with pieces ranging from $120 to $1,400. Wasson tells us that the collection is to be called Erin Meets Zadig.

Zadig & Voltaire founder, Thierry Gillier, said, ”Erin’s capsule is really different from what we are doing today. It allows us to offer an even more distinctive product…We are rock ’n’ roll, but Erin is even more rock ’n’ roll.”

With Wasson’s particular rocker chic style, Zadig & Voltaire is excited to give their consumers something new and fun. She describes the collection rock ‘n’ roll meets hippie, which fits the brand perfectly.  Wasson says her inspiration was “life, classic cars and Rod Stewart.”

The collection includes a studded suede jacket, leather pants cashmere pieces, shoes, a leather coat, and handbags which will all be shown in July at Couture week in Paris.

Wasson may have found her calling in fashion as she keeping her successful jewelry line in full force. She makes it seem as though designing clothes comes naturally to her.
