Diesel Brings The Like Button To Life Through Mobile Campaign
One of the leading pioneers in casual fashion and denim, Diesel, brings the Facebook ‘Like’ button to life with a pilot project in Madrid that allows shoppers in its stores to LIKE the items they see while sharing them with their Facebook friends.
Diesel has set up clothing displays with QR codes which customers can scan. Scanning these codes will allow shoppers to see similar items, and even share their favorite Diesel products with their friends on Facebook.
This is a smart campaign since people may discover products in person that they have not found online. This allows customers not only the opportunity to buy products, but to also share their sense of style and fab finds with their friends via social networking.
This Diesel mobile campaign also illustrates how we’re moving forward in regards to connecting the online and offline worlds. Stores are starting to introduce augmented reality and QR codes on their floors. This campaign may be innovative enough to get the ball rolling for other companies who want to introduce digital aspects to their brick and mortar stores, in hopes of getting consumers to take action.

Always looking for great QR code, mobile and social media integration campaign. Very clever use.
You can pretty much do anything with a QR code now. They make a great addition to most marketing campaigns as well! Diesel did a nice job and I’m sure many other companies will follow.
