Sprinkles Cupcakes is spreading their sweetness all around the country, including the Upper East Side of New York.  With 11 different stores in 7 states, the company is growing rapidly and the customers are loving it.  The new location in New York, which opened on May 13th in the old Gino space,  promises to attract many different people from tourists to New York natives.  Sprinkles Cupcakes continues to stick to the tradition of simple and satisfying desserts handcrafted from the best ingredients.

Candace Nelson says their cupcakes are, ”not too precious, always just right – our hope is that Sprinkles Cupcakes will conjure up lovely memories of your own childhood or family, or simply the pleasure of good taste.”

While Macala was in NYC on a fashion reporting binge, Sprinkles was giving away 1,000 cupcakes in Times Square the week before their opening.  One cupcake company, Magnolia Bakery, which was made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex and the City movie, is feeling the fierce cupcake competition.  The secret of Sprinkles Cupcakes is in their delicious frosting.

The company plans to continue their growth by opening all over the world in places like Paris, Tokyo, Toronto and Vancouver.  The cupcake company known for making delicious and yummy treats will continue to take their famous sugar dots all over the world, creating new sweet relationships with customers.
