NET-A-PORTER is pleased to announce their launch of the Simeon Farrar for Japan ‘Kate Mouse T-Shirt’ and the Chloé loves Japan T-shirt, designer tees that support Japan after its recent natural disaster. NET-A-PORTER promises to give 50% of proceeds received from the sale of these t-shirts to the Red Cross to support relief in Japan.

NET-A-PORTER’s Buying Director Holli Rogers says, “We were keen to support the Japan charity efforts and are delighted to be able to partner with both Chloe and Simeon Farrar on this initiative.  With Chloe’s classic appeal and Farrar’s irreverent humor both presented in their designs, we hope to raise even more funds for this worthwhile cause.”

T-Shirts For A Worthy Cause

Simeon Farrar’s fashionable and casual t-shirt arrived May 11th and will be sold exclusively on NET-A-PORTER.com for $80.

Chloe’s charity t-shirt will be sold for $150 on the site and is scheduled to arrive soon.

Fashion Labels Supporting Japan

It is important to note that separately from NET-A-PORTER, other designers have supported Japan relief.  Tory Burch donated 100% of proceeds of their Japan Relief T-Shirt through September 15, 2011.  Kate Spade sold their Support Japan Tote for only $18.  Opening Ceremony’s Red Cross Japan Tee for both men and women is currently $30 with 100% of proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross.  StyleList listed several other designers and celebrities supporting this important cause. Fashion + philanthropy is always a beautiful thing.
