Wanna Go To The Beauty Department With Lauren Conrad?

The former MTV reality star, fashion designer and LA go-to girl, Lauren Conrad, launched her own beauty website, thebeautydepartment.com, earlier this week.

Conrad, along with longtime hairstylist Kristin Ess and makeup artist Amy Nadine, have come together to provide beauty tips and how-to videos for all young women and girls to view.  Conrad’s site includes tips on hair, makeup, and health-related beauty topics, like skincare.  The three glamour girls want to provide a more simplified, step-by-step process for utilizing all of the beauty trends that have been coming out recently.

Conrad tells Allure magazine, “The site will offer beauty tips: How to do the hottest runway tricks, How to wear purple eyeliner, How to do beach curls. The idea is to eventually roll out a cosmetics and hair line.”

The website features a personal perspective and opinion of the team’s favorite beauty “obsessions” and “tutorials.”  Also, the girls strive to make sure their readers feel that all their personal beauty questions can be answered by providing an email address directly on the site.  Conrad is working hard to provide new and fresh videos, tips, and trends for her readers on a daily basis.  This will help keep her followers interested on the up-and-coming beauty news, or as Conrad says, “you’re daily dose of pretty.”
