H&M made sure that their fans knew they were making their way to Coachella in Indio, California this year.  As one of the major sponsors of this year’s music and art festival, they stayed involved, with their tent decorated in the most eco-friendly, sustainable, and fashionable way possible.  They provided many things to their fans, which would include free transportation to Coachella from LA, a Fashion Survival Guide 2011, a check-in on Facebook Places or Foursquare, Wifi, water, sunscreen and other skincare products.

H&M used their presence to launch The Conscience Collection, their line of eco-friendly clothing. H&M had event highlights featured on their Coachella Blog, which was written by the fashion bloggers that contributed daily blog content and photos and video footage.

The Fashion Survival Guide included topics: Travel In Pack, Bring a Bag, Denim Shorts, Meeting Spot, Protect your skin,; Easy breezy dresses Accessorize, Dress for the dessert, Shades and hats, Sun dress, Cover yourself, Keep Your Shoes on, Trend feature – Print and/or lace shorts and Boho tops and Stay Hydrated.

H&M had all of the fashion bloggers blog about what they felt were necessities for Coachella.  Each topic offered a bit about why the item or action was important.  The talented fashion bloggers that participated were Emily Green of Guest of a Guest, Chi Chau of FabSugar, Piera Gelardi of Refinery29, Lulu Chang of Luluandyourmom, Claire of Fashionbombdaily.com and Jennine Jacob of The Coveted.
