San Francisco: The Bay’s Talented Fashion Bloggers + Stylists
This past Sunday, the San Francisco Chronicle featured, four of the the city by the bay’s rising fashion influences (and yes, two of them were from WWDMAGIC & Teen Vogue’s collaboration last month in Las Vegas).
The article featured Ashley Gustafson (a contributor to FashionablyMarketing.Me and author of FashionablyAshley.com) and Jennifer Margolin (a stylist that any professional woman over 30 years should know and use, as I do).
Bay Area Bloggers Band Together
San Francisco is getting fashionably chic. Gustafson and several local San Francisco bloggers are teaming up to form a Bay Area fashion group known as Digitally Chic. “I definitely feel San Francisco doesn’t get the attention of New York and L.A.,” Gustafson told Ellen Lee. “I hope it brings more awareness to the fashion community in San Francisco.”
Fashion Blogs Are A Vital Component Of Business
Jennifer Marogolin told the Chronicle that her blog and business now go hand in hand. Her blog offers fashion advice, much of it directed at San Francisco’s career-minded women. Being a blogger isn’t a singular venture anymore; Margolin is one of many independent, entrepreneurial business professionals that have realized that their blogs are online business tools and can be used to build their businesses and personal brands.

It's wicked seeing collaboration and exposure of the West Coast fashion community. Jennifer's right in that “blogs are online business tools”. Bloggers can garner attention and respect by showing themselves as an authority in their industry and writing posts that answer questions their target market want answers to.
This is especially important in fashion as giving great fashion advice will place you high in shoppers minds when they're looking for their next purchase
