Girl power rocks, and Diane von Furstenberg knows it. Created in 2010, the DVF Awards are back and ready to recognize inspirational women and the organizations they support.

Honorees receive $50,000 in support of the organization.

• Two awards are given to women in the Vital Voices Global Network who are advancing the social, economic, and political position of women in their countries.
• One award is given to a prominent public figure who has demonstrated strength and courage in the face of adversity, and is now using her influence and recognition to effect positive change for women.
• DVF’s “People’s Voice Award” is given to a woman from the United States and is chosen by the popular vote. The five finalists for this award are presented online and then voted on by the public.
