The Noreen Fraser Foundation is collaborating with the University of Southern California’s student run organization, “Choose To Fight On,” for a fashion show raising funds for women’s cancers. The event will take place on October 21 and will be hosted by celebrity stylist, Melis Kuris.

“Choose To Fight On” was founded by two USC students, sophomore Candace Ravan and junior Tattijani Ribeiro, and aims to inspire others to work for change. The young women were inspired by Noreen Fraser, principal of NFF and stage 4 breast cancer survivor. “I am thrilled to work with USC students; early detection is the best prevention,” says Fraser.

“Choose To Fight On” is reaching out to the entire USC community to support this event. “We’re working with student athletes, various student-run organizations, and USC graduates who are either walking the runway or helping promote the event through our viral video campaign,” Ribeiro says.

On October 10, 2010, the fashion show will be hosted by renowned celebrity stylist, Melis Kuris at the Galen Center at 7:00pm. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Noreen Fraser Foundation. Tickets may be purchased on the “Choose To Fight On” website.
