Tickle Me Tuesday: Sleek IDentity

Sleek IDentityBuying unique furniture can be an arduous task.

Stefanie Gelinas’ Sleek IDentity will definitely make the buying process easier — not to mention incredibly fun.

This Los Angeles based online store sells handpicked, unique, & wonderfully creative furniture and household goods from all around the world.

Sleek IDentity seeks to bring design back to the buyers — giving them the chance to understand where the furniture that they buy comes from and giving insight into the design process itself.  In buying items off of the Sleek IDentity website, buyers learn about who made each item and where the makers come from.

Many of the designs are jaw dropping good and cover various price points.  I’m pretty much in love with Holly Palmer’s Tea Cup Stool and ache for the day I can get Tobias Reischle’s Modern Cuckoo Clock. Martin Konrad Gloeckle’s Bendino Lamp is also on my wishlist (and is affordable to boot), and I’m itching to nab  Nick Fraser’s Pipes Candelabra, as I think it’d make a perfect (whimsical) dinner party debut.

Some of the products can be made to order, and designers can submit their own products to Sleek IDentity for distribution.

Sleek IDentity’s home design goods will get you going beyond the standard furniture stores and into the world of good, and incredibly creative, design.
