Taylor Stitch: San Francisco ready to wear & custom made shirts for menGood menswear is highly dependent on good fit and timelessness.

Knowing that, Taylor Stitch — a small & independent company based in San Francisco — has created an online store specializing in limited run & handmade button up shirts.

They’re the kind of shirts look good, feel great, and exude classic — and never over the top — stylishness.

Taylor Stitch’s ready-wear-shirts are all designed, patterned, cut, and sewn locally; their custom shirts are handmade by a 3rd generation family business in Newark, NJ.

Not only that, but its website lovingly and carefully elaborates on the history of each shirt and the materials & care that went into its making.  The ready to wear Charcoal Bengal Stripe shirt, for instance, is based off of the English staple and has origins in the Indian province of Bengal.  The Emerald Bay Blue Oxford shirt is inspired by Lake Tahoe, and proceeds of its profit will go to the Keep Tahoe Blue Fund.

Classic shirts that are meant to last in your closet — who can argue with that?
