LA Fashion's Night Out 2010This September 10, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood are planning to make Fashion Night’s Out a special evening for all lovers of LA style.

The festivities will mainly center around the Beverly Center, meaning that the event will truly be a mix of luxury and more accessible retail — as Burberry, Gucci, Forever 21 and H&M can all be found at the Beverly Center.

And guess what? Not only can you shop, shop, shop, but you can also ride a ferris wheel on Rodeo Drive.

Pre-FNO Session for Bloggers

If you’re a blogger and/or a fashion web enthusiast, definitely check out The Mayor’s Office’s Special Briefing for Fashion Bloggers in Los Angeles, hosted by Mayor Antonio Vallaraigosa’s press team and Commissioner Cynthia M. Ruiz on Thursday, August 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at City Hall (200 North Spring Street).  It will be held in the Major Press Room 303.  You must RSVP by emailing nicole.williams@lacity.org.

Shopping and Event Highlights

Beverly Hills is definitely planning to host Fashion Night’s Out in true LA style, with celebrity, parties, drinks, food trucks, and more in the mix. You can ride a ferris wheel, go watch Samuel L. Jackson present his favorite red carpet looks at Giorgio Armani, and get a free manicure at Chanel. Seeking fashionably exercise?  Les Khakis de Chanel and Lacoste will host a Wii tennis tournament.  Many brands are hosting parties, such as Valentino, Emporio Armani, and Roberto Cavalli.

For more information, go to the Rodeo Drive website.

West Hollywood stores will be participating at LA’s FNO from 6pm to 10pm on September 10.  West Hollywood is also providing free shuttle service.  Places you might want to check out include 3.1 Philip Lim ( which will include artwork by James Jean, DJ music to dance to, and food trucks in the parking lot), BCBGMaxazria, Andaz West Hollywood (with a Julia Clancey runway show held at the RH Bar), and Sunset Plaza (which features a cocktail reception, a runway show, a DJ).

For more information, go to The Avenues West Hollywood website.
