Lustr Mobile Fashion App Gains Momentum

Put A Little Lustr In Your  New York Shopping Experience

Why is it that New Yorkers get all the best geo technology? First Foursquare, then Foursquare and  Marc Jacobs followed by Lustr. Launched in 2009, the Lustr Fashion Finder  application is finally making headway.

According to Rachel Strugatz of Women’s Wear Daily, the app now has a database of nearly 2,000 stores and 3,500 brands in the New York City area. The app is another geo-social tool that aims to use its personalized technology to drive traffic to stores, as well as strengthen the communication between shopper and retailer.

The ShopLustr application is built on a geofencing technology, offering automatic deals and updates based on the user’s location to venues they’ve selected to receive notifications for. We love how location-based marketing continues to bridge the gap between online and offline shopping experiences. Best of all – its a multi-platform app (Android/Blackberry/Palm/iPhone compatible).

To learn more about the app, download it from iTunes.
