Change Agent Philosophy

We entered the industry with one goal:

TO MOVE IT FORWARD.

A few months ago, we wrote an article on how agencies serving the fashion and beauty industries needed to become change agents in order to survive in a digital era.

During 2009, everyone at FMM put that theory into practice and it flourished.

Going forward, we’re joined by fresh faces, new digital partnerships and phenomenal clients driving us into the 2010 with bang.

Toto, we’re not in Web 2.0 anymore…

That past few months have been a whirlwind of positive events for us. The FMM team has been working hard to take the articles we publish on our blog to a new level. Since we launched the luxury marketing series, our blog traffic has more than tripled.

Retailers internationally have been emailing us questions, asking, “What’s next for fashion brands and retailers as it relates to Internet marketing?”

We love the questions, PLEASE, keep sending them. We’re doing our best to provide insightful answers to the questions asked in our blog posts.

New Faces + Partners

Stephanie & I are excited to welcome Elizabeth Wahler as our joint partner and Creative Director at FMM. We’re also pleased to welcome Rob Poitras as our full-time Director of Organic Search Marketing. Elizabeth brings with her a vast knowledge of luxury marketing and publishing and Rob brings ninja-style optimization techniques and impressive results in organic search.

New Clients Who Simply Rock

We’d like to welcome Madison Buyer, Clashe, Annatarian, Joy O Designs and Kyler Jewelry to our roster of clients.

Madison Buyer is a platform that creates online trade shows for fashion designers and fashion buyers. The MB platform serves as a product line marketing tool for fashion brands and designers to increase brand awareness. The MB platform also consolidates designer information such as product categories, price points, events, and networks. It is a highly searchable platform for designer portfolios. Retailers, media and consumers can discover brands and products internationally.

Clashe is a community of  fashion brands, bloggers, fashion savvy consumers and stylists working together to help consumers and retailers find clothing that is relevant, appropriate, popular and affordable. Through the publishing of online look books, independent fashion professionals will be able to promote themselves, their products and their services and expand their retail consumer and whole customer bases.

Annatarian Eco-Couture – Annatarian is a handmade vintage dress and bridal collection produced by Anna Mkhitarian. Annatarian is best known for its eco-couture collections and has been featured at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum and the Sundance Film Festival. Anna’s designs have sold at Fred Segal and high-end boutiques in St. Tropez. Her work has appeared on popular 90’s TV shows like Friends and Buffy the Vampire Slayer; celebrity clientele include Cher and Alicia Silverstone.

Joy O Designs & Kyler Jewelry - Joy O Designs and Kyler Jewelry are handmade, eco fine jewelry lines created by San Francisco- based designer Joy Opfer. Joy began designing her heirloom-quality designer jewelry when she couldn’t find exactly what she was looking for. Joy O Designs has received national press and has been featured in national magazines such as InStyle, Lucky, Star, OK!, Women’s Health, Fitness and Brides, and seen on celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz Eva Longoria, and Emily Deschanel.

Moving Forward…

We have a lot in store for 2010. We welcome and relish more change, growth and challenges. We have a lot of projects in the works, we can’t wait to show you what’s next! If we can be of any service to you or your brand – weather you’re small or large, let us know.

Best Wishes,
