Los Angeles Event: Putting The Public Back In Public Relations

Submitted by on 04/08/2009 – 7:11 AMNo Comment | 680 views

Girls In Tech is hosting it’s April event at the new, ubber swanky Must Wine Bar in downtown Los Angeles.

Girls in Tech is a national organization for women working in online, technology related jobs; it has three chapters, New York, Los Angeles & San Francisco. GIT is amazing in what they do; their events aren’t your typical networking opportunities, they are information sessions. The events combine the typical networking function with the opportunity to listen to a discussion between some of the best minds in tech, online marketing, social media and online publicity.

The next event brings one of my personal favorite Public Relations experts Brian Solis, to the spotlight, along with Heather Meeker & Nicole Jordan on April 16th, 2009 to discuss the new rules of engagement for public relations. So weather you’re a business owner or a public relations professional, the event is worth attending. Cost: $10.00 online, $15.00 at the door. What would you it cost you in these experts’ billable hours for the information they provide in these discussions? About $350 to $700 dollars.
